Responsibilities
- Manage emergency dispatch for police, fire, and medical services during night shift (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Operate Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and radio communication equipment
- Provide crisis intervention and critical incident coordination
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and compliance protocols
- Collaborate with multi-agency responders during major emergencies
- Train on specialized systems including NG911 and GIS mapping
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years public safety or emergency services experience
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background check and psychological evaluation
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Proficiency in multi-tasking under high-pressure conditions
- Fluency in English and Spanish (bilingual certification required)
