Responsibilities
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency responses via 911 call center operations
- Operate CAD/RMS systems for real-time incident tracking
- Maintain accurate documentation of all communications protocols
- Train new personnel on emergency dispatch procedures
- Collaborate with police, fire, and EMS units during critical incidents
- Ensure compliance with NENA and APCO standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years public safety dispatch experience
- NENA- or APCO-certified dispatcher credentials
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Proficiency in CAD/RMS systems (e.g., SmartCAD)
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts
- Crisis intervention certification preferred
- Pass extensive background check and polygraph examination
