Responsibilities
- Manage emergency dispatch operations for police, fire, and medical services
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and radio communications
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Utilize CAD/RMS systems for real-time situational awareness
- Provide crisis intervention and caller support during emergencies
- Train and mentor new communication specialists
- Participate in continuous improvement of protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in emergency communications or public safety
- Valid Colorado driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Proficiency in CAD/RMS systems and radio operations
- Strong multitasking abilities under pressure
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Certification in NENA or APCO standards
