Responsibilities
- Manage 911 calls and dispatch police, fire, and EMS resources
- Operate computer-aided dispatch systems and radio communications
- Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency medical instructions
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Nevada POST Public Safety Dispatcher certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 1 year customer service or call center experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in typing (40+ WPM) and computer systems
- Valid Nevada driver's license
