Responsibilities
- Receive and prioritize emergency calls, dispatching appropriate units to incidents
- Operate radio systems, CAD software, and 911 infrastructure with accuracy
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during critical incidents
- Maintain detailed logs of all communications and incident activities
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols for sensitive information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Minimum 1 year public safety or customer service experience
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check, polygraph, and psychological evaluation
- Proficiency in multitasking under high-pressure situations
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Must be U.S. citizen and pass E-Verify verification
