Responsibilities
- Manage 911 emergency calls with precision and composure during night shifts
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain accurate incident documentation and radio communications
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during critical incidents
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency medical guidance
- Operate emergency communication equipment per protocol
- Conduct shift briefings and equipment checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Massachusetts EMT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with accuracy
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10PM-6AM)
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Experience in high-stress decision-making environments
- Proficiency in computer-aided dispatch systems
