Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate assistance to citizens in crisis situations
- Conduct routine patrols to ensure public safety and crime prevention
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Document incidents using standardized reporting procedures
- Deliver community outreach programs to enhance public safety awareness
- Operate emergency vehicles and specialized safety equipment
- Participate in continuous training to maintain certification standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 2 years of public safety or emergency response experience
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and incident reporting systems
