Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and incidents with rapid deployment
- Enforce city ordinances and state laws with professionalism
- Conduct regular patrols to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Document incidents accurately in official reports and systems
- Collaborate with other agencies during multi-jurisdictional operations
- Provide community outreach and education programs
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in operational condition
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) certification
- Minimum 2 years public safety or military experience
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check, physical agility test, and drug screening
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
