Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate crisis intervention
- Conduct routine patrols and maintain public order in assigned zones
- Enforce local ordinances and state regulations with professionalism
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams during disaster response scenarios
- Conduct community outreach programs to enhance public safety awareness
- Operate specialized equipment including emergency vehicles and communication systems
Qualifications
- Valid Florida State Certification in Law Enforcement (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years of public safety or military experience
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass comprehensive background check and psychological evaluation
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in emergency response protocols and de-escalation techniques
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
