Responsibilities
- Process 911 emergency calls with calm precision during weekend shifts
- Dispatch police, fire, and EMS units using CAD/RMS systems
- Maintain detailed call logs and incident documentation
- Provide critical life-saving instructions via phone during emergencies
- Coordinate multi-agency responses during major incidents
- Operate radio communication systems and specialized emergency equipment
- Adhere to strict confidentiality and HIPAA protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1-year customer service or call center experience
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to pass extensive background check and polygraph examination
- Typing speed of 40+ WPM with 95% accuracy
- Ability to work rotating weekend shifts (Fri/Sat/Sun)
- EMR/EMT certification preferred
- Fluency in English; bilingual Spanish a plus
