Responsibilities
- Process emergency calls and dispatch appropriate public safety resources
- Operate multi-channel communication systems (radio, phone, digital)
- Maintain accurate incident documentation in CAD systems
- Provide crisis intervention and pre-arrival medical guidance
- Collaborate with cross-agency responders during major incidents
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years customer service or call center experience
- Valid Massachusetts EMT-B certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD systems
- Pass criminal background check and polygraph examination
- Fluency in English; bilingual candidates strongly encouraged
