As a Public Sector Analyst, you will play a crucial role in evaluating infrastructure projects and ensuring efficient city operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and data analysis on public infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for City Council and senior management.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Coordinate with various city departments to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Respond to inquiries from residents and stakeholders regarding city services.
- Utilize GIS and mapping software to visualize project data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a government or public sector role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Texas state procurement and compliance laws is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
