Responsibilities
- Coordinate county infrastructure projects including road maintenance, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Manage procurement processes and contractor relationships for public works initiatives
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ADA, and Colorado state construction regulations
- Prepare and present project reports to county commissioners and community stakeholders
- Develop and maintain project budgets with fiscal responsibility and transparency
- Conduct site inspections and resolve construction issues proactively
- Lead community outreach initiatives for public works projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in municipal project management
- Valid Colorado Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS mapping systems, and project management software
- Strong knowledge of federal grant programs (e.g., FEMA, DOT) and compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with public presentation experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
