Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site inspections for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
- Verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and approved blueprints
- Document findings and generate detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence
- Collaborate with contractors to resolve compliance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate project documentation and digital records
- Coordinate with engineering teams during project phases
- Participate in public meetings to address community concerns
Qualifications
- Valid California Inspector certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 3 years construction inspection experience
- Proficiency in CAD software and inspection management systems
- Strong knowledge of California Building Codes and OSHA standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Associate's degree in Construction Technology or related field
