Responsibilities
- Conduct field inspections of construction projects for compliance with city codes and blueprints
- Review engineering plans and permit applications for accuracy
- Document violations and issue correction notices with clear timelines
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city officials on project compliance
- Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports
- Provide technical guidance to construction teams on municipal regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of construction inspection experience
- Valid ICC certifications in Building/Plans Review or Building Inspector
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification required
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and construction management software
- Strong knowledge of International Building Codes and local amendments
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
