Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction and maintenance projects for compliance with city codes and specifications
- Review engineering plans, blueprints, and permit applications for accuracy and feasibility
- Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain digital records
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and city departments to resolve technical issues
- Enforce safety regulations and environmental compliance standards on job sites
- Provide technical guidance to project stakeholders and ensure quality control
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- Minimum 3 years of construction inspection or public works experience
- Valid Georgia Driver's License with clean driving record
- Proficiency in reading engineering plans and construction specifications
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and OSHA safety standards
