Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery (street sweepers, garbage trucks, etc.)
- Perform street cleaning, snow removal, and waste collection duties
- Conduct routine inspections of public areas and report hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during emergency responses
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Assist in infrastructure repair and public space maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Commercial Driver's License (Class B)
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong physical stamina and mechanical aptitude
