Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light/heavy machinery including sweepers, loaders, and hand tools
- Assist in snow removal, storm cleanup, and emergency response operations
- Conduct site inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on municipal projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Massachusetts Driver's License Class B
- 1+ years of construction or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to public service and community values
- Pass background check and drug screening
