Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including paving, pothole repair, and road maintenance.
- Operate and maintain light to medium heavy equipment such as jackhammers, rollers, and dump trucks.
- Assist in snow removal and ice control during winter months.
- Load and unload construction materials and debris safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and work orders.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
