Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light construction equipment (e.g., jackhammers, saws, trucks)
- Assist in park and facility maintenance including landscaping and repairs
- Respond to emergency situations after storms or natural disasters
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Complete daily equipment inspections and minor repairs
- Support traffic control and public safety initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with construction tools or heavy equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or street maintenance practices
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
