Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and park facility upkeep
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Ensure work sites comply with safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Participate in emergency response efforts during severe weather events
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently
Qualifications
- No experience required – training provided for all technical skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Texas Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Commitment to teamwork and punctuality
