Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks) under supervision
- Perform manual labor including digging, paving, and debris removal
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of public facilities
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Assist in emergency response during weather events
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class B preferred)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme temperatures
- Basic mechanical knowledge of construction equipment
- Experience with excavation/construction preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work
