Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, paving, and drainage maintenance
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, compactors) safely and efficiently
- Assist in repairing sidewalks, curbs, and traffic signals
- Participate in snow removal and emergency storm response
- Maintain clean and organized work sites and equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous outdoor work
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety equipment
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
