Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, repair, and improve city streets, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Perform traffic control duties, including flagging and setting up signs.
• Assist in snow and ice removal operations during winter months.
• Operate and maintain heavy equipment and hand tools safely.
• Remove debris, litter, and hazardous materials from public right-of-ways.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and public service inquiries.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Louisiana Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to perform physical labor in all weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of construction and public works equipment is a plus.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols (OSHA standards).
