Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk maintenance, and storm drain clearing
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, power saws) safely
- Collect and dispose of construction debris and hazardous materials
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Collaborate with crew members to meet project deadlines
- Document work progress and report equipment malfunctions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours (including nights/weekends)
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints
