Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including digging, paving, and general maintenance of public infrastructure.
- Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, rollers, and dump trucks under supervision.
- Assist in snow and ice removal during winter months to ensure public safety.
- Perform groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, and litter removal.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies from trucks and trailers.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a secure work site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and vehicles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Basic knowledge of construction or landscaping tools is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods.
