Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and equipment operation
- Assist in infrastructure maintenance (roads, sidewalks, drainage systems)
- Operate light machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Participate in emergency response during weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: 1+ years construction/maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
