Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light/heavy equipment (dump trucks, loaders, etc.) safely
- Assist in construction projects and emergency response efforts
- Monitor and report infrastructure issues
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Complete accurate documentation and reporting
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- 1+ years of public works or construction experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Basic equipment operation knowledge
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
