Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand tools/machinery
- Assist in construction, maintenance, and repair of public infrastructure (roads, sidewalks, parks)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work sites
- Operate light equipment (shovels, rakes, brooms) under supervisor guidance
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Report hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors immediately
- Participate in emergency response duties during severe weather events
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Must lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Valid driver's license preferred (training provided for equipment operation)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
