Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and concrete work
- Operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently (bulldozers, loaders, etc.)
- Install and maintain city infrastructure (roads, drainage systems, sidewalks)
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and city protocols
- Assist in emergency storm response and snow removal operations
- Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, organized condition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year construction or public works experience preferred
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment operation
- Strong physical stamina and mechanical aptitude
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
