Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and concrete work
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws) safely and efficiently
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage system repairs, and sidewalk installations
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople on public infrastructure projects
- Report equipment issues and maintain daily activity logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience with construction tools and equipment preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
