Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light equipment (shovels, tampers, saws) with precision and safety
- Assist in street repairs, drainage maintenance, and facility upkeep
- Adhere to OSHA protocols and municipal safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year construction/public works experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety procedures
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
