Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and sidewalk repair
- Operate light machinery such as jackhammers, saws, and compactors
- Assist in storm drain maintenance and sewer line inspections
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Willingness to obtain CDL certification (training provided)
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Previous public works or construction experience preferred
