Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials up to 50 pounds
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, pressure washers) with proper training
- Assist in road maintenance, park upkeep, and facility repairs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards promptly
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be available for occasional weekend or emergency shifts
- Previous labor or construction experience preferred
