Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, paving, and equipment operation
- Conduct routine maintenance on public facilities and roadways
- Operate machinery safely (dump trucks, graders, etc.)
- Follow OSHA protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project timelines
- Document work progress and report maintenance needs
- Participate in emergency response during weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years construction/maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends
