Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and paving support.
- Maintain and repair public roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate light to medium-duty construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Assist in landscaping, trash collection, and street sweeping operations.
- Ensure all work areas comply with OSHA safety regulations and department policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate project progress.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Florida Class E Driver’s License is required.
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
