Responsibilities
- Operate city-provided heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, graders)
- Perform road maintenance, drainage repairs, and sidewalk installations
- Assist in emergency storm response and debris removal operations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and municipal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class B or higher preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment operation willingness
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
