Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, graders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform road maintenance, paving, and drainage system repairs
- Execute snow removal operations during winter emergencies
- Conduct site preparation and demolition work for city developments
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Collaborate with engineering teams on project specifications
- Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License (Class A/B preferred)
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Experience with hand/power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
