Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and drainage system maintenance
- Operate heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) with proper certification training
- Assist in roadway repairs, traffic signal maintenance, and stormwater management
- Conduct site cleanup and debris removal following OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams for infrastructure improvement projects
- Maintain accurate work logs and equipment inspection reports
Qualifications
- Valid Florida Driver's License required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Tampa Bay area
