Responsibilities
- Perform road maintenance, pothole repairs, and street sweeping operations
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, graders, and snow removal equipment
- Conduct park maintenance including landscaping, tree trimming, and facility upkeep
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather and disaster recovery
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Indiana Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, landscaping, or municipal maintenance
- Ability to operate heavy equipment with proper certification
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and equipment maintenance
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Indiana residency required within 6 months of hire
