Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and asphalt paving.
- Operate and maintain light to heavy construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and rollers.
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials, tools, and debris on job sites.
- Assist in traffic control, flagging duties, and maintaining a safe work zone.
- Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from foremen and project managers.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience with hand and power tools is a plus but not required.
- Must be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
