Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including street sweeping, snow removal, and litter pickup.
- Operate light utility vehicles, dump trucks, and various maintenance equipment safely.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure, including parks and roadways.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with a diverse team on large-scale municipal projects.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow crew members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License (Class C) is required.
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is advantageous.
