Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for infrastructure projects
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., backhoes, dump trucks) with proper safety protocols
- Install and maintain traffic control systems during construction zones
- Conduct routine inspections of public facilities and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on stormwater management and erosion control
- Adhere to OSHA standards and environmental regulations for all tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years construction experience
- Valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
