Responsibilities
- Perform infrastructure maintenance including road repairs, drainage systems, and sidewalk installations
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks) safely and efficiently
- Conduct field inspections and document findings via mobile apps during on-site days
- Collaborate with remote engineering teams on project planning and scheduling
- Maintain accurate digital records and reports during remote work periods
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Wisconsin Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years construction/maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with digital tools (Google Workspace, field inspection software)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills for hybrid collaboration
