Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor including digging, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Operate light machinery: jackhammers, saws, and pressure washers
- Maintain roads, sidewalks, and public spaces
- Assist in storm drain and sewer maintenance
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Report equipment malfunctions and hazards
- Collaborate with crew members on daily tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Florida driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools
- Ability to read and interpret work orders
- Must be able to start within 48 hours of offer
- Previous public works experience preferred
