Responsibilities
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of city infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery and equipment under supervision (e.g., jackhammers, saws, compactors)
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and debris removal
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
- Participate in emergency response efforts during severe weather events
- Document work activities and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
