Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, grading, and material handling for municipal infrastructure projects
- Operate hand/power tools and light equipment under supervision (training provided)
- Assist in road repair, sidewalk installation, and park facility maintenance
- Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain clean job sites
- Support stormwater management and erosion control initiatives
- Participate in emergency response operations during weather events
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance logs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid Colorado driver's license within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (paid training provided)
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory
- Commitment to teamwork and following instructions from supervisors
