Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, shoveling, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Assist in construction and maintenance of sidewalks, roads, and public facilities
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, jackhammers)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Support crew members in completing daily project objectives
- Participate in storm drain cleaning, park maintenance, and vegetation control
- Report equipment issues and maintenance needs to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record (required for equipment operation training)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
