Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on maintenance of public infrastructure including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely under OSHA guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections and document findings via mobile reporting systems
- Collaborate with remote teams on project planning and scheduling updates
- Respond to emergency repairs and weather-related public works issues
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols
- Assist in equipment maintenance and inventory management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years construction/labor experience
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with digital reporting tools (remote work component)
- Strong communication skills for hybrid team collaboration
