Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city sidewalks, streets, and drainage systems
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, pressure washers) safely and efficiently
- Assist in park beautification projects including landscaping and trash removal
- Support emergency response efforts during weather-related events
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Document daily tasks and equipment usage accurately
- Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize daily assignments
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old with valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to operate equipment
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
